Merrimack High robotics team plans summer Lego camps

Each summer, Merrimack High School’s FIRST Robotics competition team Chop Shop 166 hosts a day camp for ages 8-14 that focuses on building and programming Lego robots to complete different challenges.

At the end of each one-week session, the campers are able to compete with one another and show each other and their families the robots that they worked on together to create.

The campers learn a lot about robot design, teamwork, and most importantly, having fun. Campers work in small groups with a Mindstorms NXT kit to build a robot that can complete different challenges.

The sessions are will be July 20-24 and July 27-31.
