Merrimack historical site brochures available
The Merrimack Heritage Commission has published free historical tour brochures for three of the four villages that make up the town of Merrimack.
They cover Reeds Ferry, Souhegan (center) and Thornton’s Ferry.
The brochures are available at Town Hall on the table before the clerk’s office, the Merrimack Public Library on a cabinet near the center and at the Merrimack Historical Society. They also will be available at the heritage/historical booth at Family Fun Day on July 4.
The colorful brochures are similar to the walking tour brochures of the past, but have been updated with the addition of Thornton’s Ferry. South Merrimack may be added in the future.
Each brochure covers many sites in each of the villages, along with a map.
The design was done by a local Boy Scout, Justin Calautti, along with the Heritage Commission.
