Merrimack Friends & Families gives more than $4,000 to town
Merrimack Friends and Families, a social and service organization, has made $4,130 in donations to the town.
Donations were made to Merrimack Parks & Recreation for summer camp scholarships, to the St. James and St. John Neumann food pantries, and to Big Brothers Big Sisters of New Hampshire to help a Merrimack child.
MFF also purchased a sponsorship package for the pending dog park.
"MFF’s first priority is to give back to the community," said Jill Mitchell, former president of MFF. "It prides us to donate this money back into this town that we love very much. We only wish we could do more."
Though it may seem minimal, a great deal of effort went into raising the money. From bake sales to yard sales and everything in between, MFF club members do whatever they can to support the town of Merrimack.
