Nashua Area Retired Educators to hold luncheon on Oct. 21

The Nashua Area Retired Educators Association will hold its fall luncheon at Nashua Country Club on Wednesday, Oct. 21.

Registration will open at 11 a.m. and luncheon will be served at noon.

The guest speaker will be Cheryl K. Franchi, a consultant dietitian and board-certified specialist in gerontological nutrition. Her informational topic will be "How to Maintain Your Brain With Health Food And Lifestyle Changes." She is a health care professional with more than 30 years of experience in medical nutritional therapy.

All area retired teachers, administrators and educational staff are invited. The association includes Merrimack, Hudson, Litchfield, Pelham, Windham, Amherst, Mont Vernon, Milford, Hollis, Brookline, Wilton, Lyndeborough and Nashua.

Members and their guests are asked to make reservations and pay for their luncheon in advance.

There will be no November NAREA luncheon because of family holiday schedules. The annual Christmas Gala will be held Wednesday, Dec. 16 at Nashua Country Club. A cash or check collection will be made for local food pantries at that time.
