Library holding annual Turkey Shoot

The Merrimack Public Library board of trustees and Friends of the Merrimack Public Library announced the annual Turkey Shoot fundraiser is scheduled for 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, in the Merrimack High School cafeteria, 38 McElwain St.

This is the sixth year for this successful event. The Turkey Shoot is a fun, fast-paced evening of raffles enjoyed by the whole family. Over the course of the evening, the library raffles off four rounds of 10 turkey dinners with all the fixings: stuffing, potatoes, vegetables, candy, pie, and cider. This year, it is introducing a raffle game in which one might win an entire turkey dinner in just one round.

Raffling will include a variety of gift baskets and gift certificates donated by local businesses and library patrons. Again this year, there will be activities for children, and The Fuzzboxx will provide live music entertainment.

Proceeds will go toward the purchase of a 3-D printer from Merrimack company TKI – Turn Key Innovations – and will be for general public use.

Rob Burnham and Jordan St. Pierre, the owners of TKI, will be offering 3-D printing demonstrations throughout the night.
