Local man graduates from basic training in San Antonio
Air Force Airman Christopher J. Puglisi recently graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in San Antonio.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills. Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Puglisi is the son of Ray Puglisi, of Merrimack, and Karen Puglisi, of Port Orange, Fla., and brother of Elizabeth Puglisi, of Daytona Beach, Fla. He is also the grandson of Ray Puglisi, of Daytona Beach, Fla.; Connie Puglisi, of Hooksett; and Ernest Alfonso, of Meriden, Conn. He is the nephew of Sherri Alfonso and Rich Clark, of Meriden.
Puglisi graduated from Merrimack High School in 2015.
