Radio host, author speaks at Merrimack Lions Club meeting

Mike Morin, morning radio host for four decades, recently spoke at a Merrimack Lions Club meeting about his memoir, "Fifty Shades of Radio" – a description of true stories and anecdotes in an era when radio personalities had a platform to bring imaginative fun to their shows.

For about 30 minutes, Morin talked about his experiences interviewing famous personalities and pulling publicity stunts to start your morning with a laugh.

This was the club’s first meeting at the newly opened Portofino’s restaurant on Daniel Webster Highway (the club also meets at The Common Man). Morin stayed to autograph copies of his book and donated a portion of his proceeds to the Merrimack Lions.

Morin also writes a column for The Telegraph and is co-host of "The Chef’s Palate" on TV WBIN 18.
