Merrimack Concert Association to perform Saturday, April 16

MERRIMACK – Join the Merrimack Concert Association on Saturday, April 16, as we take our audience members on a musical journey through time.

Under the direction of Jamie Saucier and Lelia Dutton, the MCA Chorus and Concert Band will delight audience members with American favorites and pieces by American composers: "Ride the Chariot," "Moon River," "Medley from Guys And Dolls," "Shenandoah," "Georgia On My Mind," "Fanfare for the Common Man" and more.

The Merrimack Concert Association will welcome back Off The Cuff. Whether an original tune or an old standard, Off The Cuff infuses its own special blend of folk, jazz, swing, blues, rock, country and world music into every song to reinvent it as something new and personal.

The performance will begin at 3 p.m. at Merrimack High School. Doors will open at 2:30.

Seating is reserved. Tickets are $16 for adults, $14 for seniors 60 or older, $8 for students and free for ages 5 and younger. They may be purchased by visiting www.merrimackconcert.org; by calling Executive Director Heidi Critz-Frens at 233-2557; or by emailing info@merrimackconcert.org prior to Wednesday, April 13. Tickets also will be available at the door; however, for priority seating, order ahead.

In addition to a 50/50 raffle, there will be several penny auction items available during the performance. Complimentary refreshments, gourmet desserts and light snacks will be provided.
