Entries sought for NH Loonie Awards

CONCORD – The New Hampshire Travel Council is accepting entries for the Loonie Awards, a professional awards program designed to recognize the most creative and effective examples of New Hampshire tourism promotion.

The competition is open to any organization, company or individual who creates and/or produces New Hampshire tourism marketing materials, including attractions, lodging properties, chambers of commerce, marketing agencies, design firms and printers. There are categories for virtually every facet of tourism promotion.

The entry deadline is Friday, Aug. 5, with an early bird deadline of Monday, July 11. Awards will be presented Thursday, Nov. 15, at the Palace Theatre in Manchester. Rules and entry forms can be found at www.nhtravelcouncil.com/loonies.

The New Hampshire Travel Council, founded in 1974, has continually evolved to enhance and encourage the development of the travel and tourism industry, which employs nearly 77,000 people statewide. Working with the New Hampshire Division of Travel and Tourism Development and other statewide partners, the New Hampshire Travel Council produces the Governor’s Conference on Travel and Tourism each spring.
