Grassroots Organization Hosts an Evening for Parents and Community Members to Address Addiction and the Opioid Crisis

MERRIMACK – The grassroots organization Recovery: A Family Answer is hosting a screening of the movie “If Only” funded by the Mark Wahlberg Youth Foundation to showcase the face of addiction and the opioid crisis. Following the film, there will be an interactive panel discussion on topics including treatment and recovery, family support, and legal and medical services.
Recovery: A Family Answer is a grassroots organization of parents and family members of people in recovery that, through support groups, have come to realize that a major source of support is each other. It is hosting the event to share resources, provide support, and offer insight to those in the community who may just beginning this process.
Present at the evening will be various state-wide and local agencies, residential treatment centers and family support groups. Attendees will be able to speak directly with these agencies at the individual Exhibition booths.
