George ‘Hal’ Fisher

George “Hal” Fisher, Jr., 70, of Manchester, passed away at his residence on October 7, 2010.

He was born in Nashua on March 24, 1940, the son of George and Mildred (Cross) Fisher and had been a New Hampshire resident for most of his life, the last nine years in Manchester. He was a United States Air Force Veteran. He was a salesman throughout most of his career. He enjoyed reading, especially history books.

He was predeceased by two children, Mark Fisher and Loren Fisher

In His Life: Family members include his wife of 51 years, Margaret (Garcia) Fisher; a son, Wayne Fisher of Wilton; a daughter, Kellie Haigh and her husband Benjamin of Goffstown; six grandchildren, Amelia and Liam Haigh, and Brandi, Zachary, Darian, and Stephanie Fisher; a half sister and nephews, nieces and cousins.

A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday November 5th at St. Patrick Church in Milford at 10:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to S.H.A.R.E., 1 Columbus Ave., Milford, NH 03055. Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Manchester, is in charge of arrangements.
