John F. Tedder

John F. Tedder, 76, of Nashua, NH died Friday March 11, 2011 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH surrounded by his loving family.

John was born on October 22, 1934 in Ackerman, MS, son of the late Marvin and Willie (Sheedy) Tedder and was the loving husband of Mary Jo (Laurent) Tedder with whom he shared 50 years of marriage.

John served his country honorably in the Army and was a active volunteer in his community. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. John drove for McLaughlin Limousine for more than ten years and in the ’90s he and his wife owned and operated Tedder’s Convenience Store and Deli on Main Street in Nashua for seven years. John would always make himself available to help friends and family and he was loved by so many.

Besides his loving wife Mary Jo, John is survived by three sons, Peter Tedder and his wife Rita of Mont Vernon NH, Eric Tedder of Derry NH and Paul Tedder and his wife Christine of Wilton NH; a brother, Chris Tedder of MS; three grandchildren, Meghan Tedder of Milford, NH and Alec and Ava Tedder both of Derry, NH; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Visiting Hours were held March 16 in the DUMONT-SULLIVAN FUNERAL HOME, 50 Ferry St., Hudson.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Thurs. March 17th at 10am. Public may arrive beginning at 9:45am. Burial will take place at a future date. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Home Health & Hospice c/o Community Hospice House, 7 Executive Park Dr., Merrimack, NH 03054.
