William Albert Gonzales
It is with great sadness that the family of William (Bill) Albert Gonzales announces his passing on Tuesday, December 24, 2013, at the age of 69 years. He was a 33-year resident of Merrimack, NH, before moving to Myrtle Beach, SC, eight years ago. He was born in Somerville, MA, on May 9, 1944, to the late Frank and Ella Gonzales. He married Bette Saitz Gonzales on August 17, 1968. Bill was a member of the National Guard from 1967-1971 and owner of Trade Winds Construction for more than twenty years.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Bette Gonzales, and his three children, Stacy (Matt) Davis of Manchester, NH, Cara (Christopher) Statz of South Windsor, CT and Brett (Lindsay) Gonzales of Nashua, NH. He was predeceased by his daughter Jennifer Gonzales, with whom he is now reunited.
Bill will be fondly remembered by his four grandchildren, Danielle Guenthner, Lucas, Caleb, and Adelyn Statz; his siblings, Richard (Inga) Gonzales of Charlotte, NC, Robert (Noreen) Gonzales of Auburn, NH, Joyce (John) Gagen of Shamong, NJ, and Timothy (Joanne) Gonzales of Manchester, NH. Bill also will be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in Our Lady of Mercy Church, 16 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack, NH, on Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at 10 a.m. Burial followed in Last Rest Cemetery (across the street from the church).
