Roger Albert Tardiff

Roger Albert Tardiff, 68, died unexpectedly at his new home in Florida on the evening of January 30, 2014. He was born to the late Ernest and Beulah (Howe) Tardiff on May 1, 1945, in Nashua, NH.

Known as Red, he grew up in Merrimack, NH, and graduated from Merrimack High School in 1964. He graduated from Hesser Business College in Manchester, NH in 1967.

He served for four years in the U.S. Navy from 1967 to 1971.

He and his wife and two sons lived in Amherst, NH, for 25 years.

Red worked for Public Service Company of NH for 28 years as a lineman and later foreman in the Line Department out of Nashua, NH. After taking early retirement, he drove the Charter Bus for Milford and Amherst, NH sports teams for about 7 years. He so enjoyed the social interaction with the team players and their coaches. He greatly valued his life, and enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking, snowmobiling, skiing, golfing, archery, biking, and motorcycling as a member of GWRRA.

He was predeceased by a dear sister, Tina Watson, on November 10, 2013.

He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Sally (Holland); his two sons, Todd Tardiff of Keene, NH, and Michael Tardiff of Marlboro, MA, and their families; and his brother, Robert Tardiff of Florida and his family; and numerous other relatives; and many dear friends.
