Michael Brin, Amherst.
If you happened to be outside early Monday morning, you would you would have seen Jesus and Mike ascending through the moonlit sky on their way home.
Mike lost his short battle with cancer at The Community Hospice House in Merrimack on April 14, 2014.
Mike was 62, born in Scotland, grew up in Connecticut and spent most of his adult life living in coastal Maine and New Hampshire.
Mike had a generous and caring heart, always reaching out to others with a helping hand. Known for his sense of humor, he was quick to bring a smile to friends and strangers alike.
Mike spent much of his life in the real estate and general contracting business bringing meticulous planning and quality to everything he did.
He appreciated time with family and friends, especially time spent with Rene, Matt and Johanna, always with a smile, a loving hand on the shoulder or a hug.
Did we mention his stories? Oh those wonderful stories he had to tell.
God had a need for a good storyteller and called Mike … we know he is sharing his stories and bringing smiles now in Heaven.
A private family service is planned.
Memorial donations can be made to The Community Hospice House in Merrimack, an incredible facility and staff providing expert care and support to patients and families during difficult times.
Mike is survived by his wife of 37 years Rene Brin of Amherst, his son Matt Brin and his wife Johanna of Windham, ME, an older brother Henri Brin of Atlanta, an older sister Mary DeMasi and her husband Ralph of Myrtle Beach, SC, a younger brother Marcel Brin and his wife Lori of Monroe, CT, and a younger sister Margaret Liontas of Milford, CT.
