Helen L. Staiti
AMHERST, NH – Helen L. Staiti, 70, longtime resident of Amherst, NH, died and entered into the Kingdom of Heaven on May 16, 2014, at Crestwood Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Milford.
She was born in Worcester, MA, on June 7, 1943, a daughter of William and Helen (Archer) Aldrich.
Helen was a homemaker for most of her life and was most happy when surrounded by her family. She was a loving wife, a devoted mother and grandmother.
She was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church, Milford, and in her spare time she enjoyed going fishing with her husband.
Family members include her husband of 44 years, George J.L. Staiti of Amherst; three daughters, Dona M. Vander Heyden of Dorchester, MA, Barbara Vander Heyden Arnold of Brookline, NH, and Cora Staiti of Nashua, NH; a son, Anthony Staiti of Milford, NH; four step-children, Thomas Staiti of Wilton, NH, David Staiti of Antrim, NH, Cynthia Proctor of Hopkinton, MA, and Christine Staiti of Arlington, MA; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three brothers, William Aldrich and David Aldrich, both of FL, Walter Aldrich of CA; and many nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours. A mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Wednesday, May 21st at 10:00 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, 34 Amherst Street, Milford. Burial followed in Riverside Cemetery, Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Share Outreach Inc., 1 Columbus Ave., Milford, NH 03055.
