James Harvey Chamberlain
James Harvey Chamberlain, 62, of Mont Vernon, NH died May 27, 2014 at Lahey Clinic located in Burlington, Massachusetts.
James was born March 23, 1952 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of George Robert and Susan Ann (Hall) Chamberlain. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Following his service to his country, James was an avid diver before meeting his love, Alice, and settling down to raise a loving family of three children within 39 joyous years of marriage.
James enjoyed an adventurous career in his passion of chemical development within the industrial field. His limited time with his employer, Anchor-Seal, was a family away from his family.
Known for his kind heart, sparkling blue eyes and formidable golf game, James was never happier than when he was spending time with his family and playing cards. James shared his love for life with anyone that he encountered. He also loved his pets, BBQs, playing golf with his sons and playing with his grandchildren. Spending time with his family was the most important time to James.
Surviving is his wife, Alice Chamberlain; and their three sons, Robert (Sarah) Chamberlain of Mont Vernon, NH and Philip (Annie) Chamberlain of Broad Run, VA; three grandchildren; Liam Chamberlain; James’s father, George (Judy Peterson); and brother, Marc.
Services: A family celebration of James and his legacy will be conducted at his private residence and be officiated by his “fourth son” Jared Gordon. In lieu of flowers or donations, James would ask you to hold your family and cherish any and all moments with them.
