Malcolm C. McEntee
Malcolm C. “Mac” McEntee, 66, lifelong resident of Milford, NH died on February 20, 2015 at his home.
He was born in Nashua, NH on October 29, 1948, a son of John T. and Eileen (Byrne) McEntee. Malcolm was raised and educated in Milford and graduated from Milford High School, Class of 1967.
He had been employed as a glazier for Portland Glass Company and Nashua Glass Company for many years.
Malcolm was an avid fan of the Boston sports teams, a member of the local bowling, softball and horseshoe leagues. In addition, he was a charter member of Milford & Company Motorcycle Club and enjoyed playing cribbage and chess.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served aboard the USS New Jersey during the Vietnam War. Malcolm was a member of Ricciardi Hartshorn Post #23, American Legion and Harley Sanford Post #4368, VFW, Milford.
He was predeceased by a son, Daniel J. McEntee and a brother, John M. McEntee.
Family members include two sons, Kaleb McEntee of Milford, NH and Damien McEntee of Nashua, NH; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Joseph M. and Linda A. McEntee of Milford and Patrick T. McEntee of Manchester, NH; four sisters and two brothers-in-law, Maureen A. and Thomas J. VonDette of Hillsborough, NH, Sheila M. Fraser and Mary E. Johnson, both of Milford, Ellen M. and Robert Pratt of Wilton, NH; his longtime companion, Rhonda Whitt of Milford; a grandson, Tyler McEntee; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of His Life will be held on Sunday, March 1st from 1:00-3:00 pm at the Harley Sanford Post #4368 VFW, One VFW Way, Milford. Burial will be in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to: Children of Fallen Soldiers Relief Fund at www.cfsrf.org, Vietnam Veterans of America at www.vva.org, or Veteran Tickets Foundation at www.vettix.org.
