William Robert Parker

William Robert Parker, 80, of Wilton died on May 3, 2015 at his home and surrounded by his family after a lengthy illness. He was born in Milford N.H. on February 28, 1935, the son of Frederick and Verna (Buzzell) Parker.

William was a Master Plumber for over 40 years. He was the proud owner and operator of Parker Plumbing and Heating and served the Wilton area loyally. In addition to his business, he worked for the Town of Wilton Department of Public Works for many years and for Riley Brothers in Milford.

He enjoyed snowmobiling and was a member of the Wilton Wanderers Snowmobile Club. He belonged to several trade organizations related to his plumbing profession, as well as the Antique Tractor Club. He assisted in both the 4-H Club and the Boy Scouts of America organization when his kids were young. William had a passion for farming. He loved spending time on his tractors and working in the garden and with his animals, particularly his cows. He found great joy in spending time with his grandchildren.

William is survived by his loving wife of more than 52 years, Priscilla Parker of Wilton, his son Jeffrey Parker of Claremont, and his daughter Jodi Parker of Peterborough. He will also be missed by his grandchildren, Kevin Gabaree, Jackie Parker, Becky Parker, Veronica Parker, Jessica Dick, Roenne, Austin, and Trevor Hanley, and Amanda Handt-Parker; his great-grandchildren Anastasia Downing and Hazlynn and Adalyn Parker. He also leaves his sisters Carol Dahlinger of FL, Jane Pinet of Nashua and Donna Parker.

He was predeceased by his brother Charles Parker.

All are warmly invited to calling hours at the Michaud Funeral Home on May 16, from 2:00 PM -4:00 PM. A brief prayer service and a time of sharing will take place at 3:00 PM.
