Sean P. Doherty
MILFORD – It is with great sadness that we inform you that Sean P. Doherty, 46, of Milford, NH, passed peacefully on Monday, September 21, 2015 at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. He was a casualty of colon cancer.
Sean leaves behind his devoted wife, Christine, and beloved young teen daughter, Celeste. He is also dearly missed by his sister, Sharon Stewart and her husband Ford; and his nephews, Cameron, Nolan and Zachary; his Canadian in-laws, George & Joanne MacDonald; his very close friends; and brother, Grant MacDonald & his wife Kathryn; and his mother, Marie.
His father Bill predeceased him in 2007.
Sean was brilliant, and his quick, dry wit kept everyone who could keep up with him laughing.
He had Masters degrees in both Oceanography and Oriental Medicine. He practiced acupuncture and Chinese medicine at Balance Point Natural Medicine, in Milford, NH. Sean helped hundreds of infertile couples create families and he relieved pains of all kinds for thousands of people. He truly made the world a better place. He liked to tinker in his antique colonial house, had a black belt in Karate, rode century bike rides, did triathlons and also played guitar, loved to travel and write self described "bad Haikus."
In lieu of flowers, he requested that donations be made to the "Sean Doherty Donation Fund" toward his daughter’s education, please mail checks to Balance Point Natural Medicine, 354 Nashua St., Milford, NH, 03055. A celebration of his life will be held at the Radisson Hotel, 11 Tara Blvd., Nashua, NH on Saturday, October 17th, at 1:30.
