Marlene (Pelletier) Mills

On March 27, 2016, in the early dawn of Easter Sunday, the Lord rose to take our beloved Marlene home.

Marlene passed away after a long and arduous battle with cancer. She was surrounded with family as she bravely fell into the arms of God. Marlene was born on October 9, 1968, in Littleton, NH.

She is survived by her parents, Roger and Joyce Pelletier of Amherst, NH; her brother and his wife, Michael and Lisa Pelletier of Milford, and their son Nicholas, who was the light of Marlene’s life. She also leaves behind her grandmother, Hermance (Memere) Pelletier of Hindsdale; and a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. In 1986 she graduated from MASH High School in Milford. Marlene then went to work for Crimson (American Express) Travel, where she worked for 23 years. For the past 7 years she worked at Delta Education.

Throughout her life, Marlene was a giver. She volunteered at various organizations which included Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Girl Scouts, and volunteering many hours for our military soldiers. For 25 years, she volunteered her time at Skate 3 in Tyngsborough, MA, where she instructed children in the Learn To Skate program.

She also loved doing crafts of all kinds, and became proficient in all that she chose to create. Her biggest joy however, was spending time laughing and sharing of herself with family and friends. She has filled all of our hearts with joy, and will never be forgotten. Please join the family to attend a Celebration of Life on Friday, April 1 from 6-8 PM at Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway in Merrimack.

A Memorial Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, April 2 at noon at St. John Neumann Church, located at 708 Milford Road in Merrimack. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marlene’s honor to, Community Hospice House, 7 Executive Drive, Merrimack, NH 03054. To sign an online guestbook, visit
