Theresa ‘Terry’ (Cote) Depeuw
Theresa (Cote) Depeuw formerly of Milford passed away peacefully at hospice in Kissimmee FL on Sunday, November 27, 2016 after a brief illness.
Theresa was born no February 15, 1922 and raised in Barton VT. Daughter of William and Josephine (Valley) Buskey. She married Andrew Cote in 1946 and lived on the family dairy farm in Derby, VT. They moved to Springfield, VT in 1956 then to Nashua 1959 and to Milford in 1961. Theresa worked at OK Tool for about 6 years and then at Hitchiner Mfg. Co Inc. for about 18 years. She retired in 1984.
Theresa enjoyed dancing, knitting, crocheting and playing cards. She also loved spending time with family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. A communicant of St Patrick’s Church in Milford and St Edward’s in St Cloud FL.
She was predeceased by her 1st husband George Langdeau of Barton VT, who was killed in Europe in 1944. She married Andrew Cote in 1946 and enjoyed 58 years of marriage, spending 20 happy years of retirement in St Cloud before his death in 2004. And by her brothers, Rudolph, Paul, Raymond, Robert and Regis Buskey. One sister, Doris Cota. And her loving granddaughter. Lynn (Gagnon) Marr who passed away in 1991.
Theresa is survived by her husband George Depeuw of St Cloud FL to whom she had been married for 10 years. Daughter Maria (Langdeau)(Gagnon) Riley of Nashua, Maurice (Moe) Cote and his wife Cheryl of Milford, daughter Sharon Dupont and her husband Philip of Wilton Center. Grandchildren, Mark Gagnon of Reno Nevada, Jan Burton of Litchfield, Travis Cote of Milford, Joshua Cote of London, England, Katelin Willette of Milford, Andrew MacLellan of Milford and Christine MacLellan of Tampa FL. Six great grandchildren and Five Great-Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
