Michel Carbonneau passed away in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada on April 13, 2017.
Visitation will be held on Saturday April 22, 2017 at Charron & fils Funeral Home in Coaticook, Quebec, from 11:00am until 1:00pm, followed by a funeral service at 1:00pm at the same location. A Celebration of Michel’s life will also be held Sunday May 7, 2017 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at White Birch Catering, 222 Central Street in Hudson, NH. Michel leaves his mother Jeanne Carbonneau, and his sisters Lynn (Dan) Fiiion and Edna (Jon) Gundersen. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews, Casey (Dan) Kowalik, Nicole (Denise) Neveau, Taran Gundersen, Shayna Routhier and Bruno Routhier. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles and cousins, especially his cousin Jean Fontaine who served as companion and caregiver during Michel’s battle with ALS. Michel was predeceased by his father, Joseph Carbonneau and his brother, Alain Carbonneau.
Michel was born on October 1, 1957 in Coaticook, Quebec and moved to New Hampshire as a young child. He was educated in the Nashua school system. He learned the drywall trade from his father and pursued a drywall career for his entire life. Michel loved animals, music, and his friends. He enjoyed telling stories of his travels and adventures.
