Debbie Bailey

Mrs. Debbie Bailey, of Nashua, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully in her home on September 18, 2017 at the age of 50 following a long illness.

She was born on June 8, 1967 in Nashua, New Hampshire. Her parents, Carl and Cheryl Morrill, lived in Milford, New Hampshire with their two children until 1982. Debbie graduated from Contoocook Valley Regional High School in Peterborough, New Hampshire and then furthered her education at Middlesex Community College and Franklin Pierce College with classes focusing on finance and investments.

Professionally Debbie’s career spanned the medical device and financial service industry. She started her career at TFX Medical Inc. where we she was actively involved in scheduling the $6 Million medical devices department. She received her Series 63 and Series 7 securities certification in the financial industry and began a successful career at Fidelity Investments. She enjoyed helping customers as an Investment Representative and later as a Sr. Fund Accounting Analyst, involved with mutual fund and investment audit and accounting. She loved her work and was always willing to go the extra mile to help customers.

In 2003, Debbie married Stephen Bailey. She provided a loving home for their dogs Tyler, Megan, and later Sadie, Brodie, Jake and Nina. Debbie spent many happy hours playing with and caring for the dogs she so dearly loved. She had many other interests including history, space, science, and economics. In addition, Debbie had a passion for cooking and was always experimenting with new recipes. She loved giving back to her community, such as preparing Thanksgiving meals to those less fortunate. She passionately believed in helping animals in need, and was a donor to multiple causes including The Humane Society for Greater Nashua and The Elephant Sanctuary of Tennessee, which is dedicated to providing care and a home for Elephants in need. Some of her other passions included interior decorating, collecting elephant statues, studying ancient Egypt, and enjoying quiet mornings watching and feeding the many birds that visited their home.

Debbie is loved and missed by her surviving husband, Stephen; brother, Shawn Morrill; Sister-in-Law, Dawn Morrill; Mother-in-law, Kirstin Bailey; Brother-in-law, Randy Bailey; Nephews, Robbie Bailey and wife Cheyanne; Ryan Morrill; Niece, Arianna Morrill; and Step Mother, Carolyn Morrill. She is predeceased by her father, Carl Morrill and mother, Cheryl Morrill.

At Debbie’s request, no services will be held. There will be a private family memorial.
