Marjorie Mason

It is with great sadness that the family of Marjorie Mason, announces her passing after a brief illness, on November 29, 2017. Marjorie was born on February 15, 1954 to Warren and Eleanor Mason. Marjorie was raised in Merrimack, NH on the family farm, Mason Stables along with her nine siblings. The well-known Mason family provided years of equine care and riding instruction to the greater Merrimack community. She later worked many years at the iconic Diner on the Oval in Milford, NH making numerous lasting friendships, including Howard and Francis Crooker. Marjorie lived in Dunedin, FL for a number of years before returning to her home state of New Hampshire. She loved the beach and White Mountains and spent her remaining years in Effingham, NH with her friend Mary Travis. Marjorie will be forever remembered for her kind heart, love of her family and sense of humor. She was pre-deceased by her father, Warren E. Mason, Sr. (1987), sister, Marilyn Mason Woodman (1984) and nephew, John Mason (2014). She is survived by her mother, Eleanor Mason of Burlington, VT and formerly Twin Mountain, NH. She is also fondly remembered by her siblings; Warren & Annette Mason, Jr. of Meredith, NH; Steve and Mary Mason of Littleton, NH; Tim and Deb Mason of Ossipee, NH; Kevin and Elizabeth (Mason) Parker of Greenfield, NH; Mark and Edie (Mason) Worcester of Whitefield, NH; Laura Mason and Alan Greenwalt of Whitefield, NH; Lynne (Mason) Davis of Oneco, CT and Anne Mason of Burlington, VT. As well as her nieces and nephews; Melissa Faris, Emily Parker DeFreitas, Molly Culver, Mason Parker, Warren Lenehan, Hannah Lenehan, Jim Mason, Kelly Carson, Sarah Davis-Phaiah, Brad Davis Jr, Ben, Samantha and Alli Mason. Funeral services were conducted by Lord Funeral Home of Ossipee on December 4, 2017 at the Mason Family cemetery site in Whitefield.
