B. Eleanor LosKamp

BROOKLINE, NH – B. Eleanor (Ellie) LosKamp, 84, resident of Brookline, NH, passed away on May 24, 2015, at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, Nashua, NH, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Philadelphia, PA, on August 2, 1930, a daughter of Samuel G. and Estella (Barnes) Newton. As a military wife, she had lived all over the United States, including Alaska, Hawaii and Colorado, and made her home in Brookline, NH, for 34 years.

Mrs. LosKamp was an avid reader and enjoyed playing golf, pinochle, skat and was a member of the Brookline Community Church.

She was a loving mother, a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother who truly loved spending time with her family.

Mrs. LosKamp was predeceased by her husband, Frederick E. LosKamp, grandson Kelly Michael LosKamp (infant), granddaughter Tamora Grey and sister Estelle Meyers.

Her patience, strength and abounding love are just fragments of the depth of influence she had on the lives around her. She would never say goodbye. She always said “Toodle-loo!”

Family members include two sons, Frederick B. LosKamp and his wife, Debra, of Bellefonte, PA, and Steven P. LosKamp and his girlfriend, Heidi, of Lincoln, ME; two daughters, Cheryl L. Karpey and her husband, Robert, of North Myrtle Beach, SC, and Susan Haight and her husband, Russell, of Brookline, NH; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Gladys Sutton, of CA; several nieces and nephews; and many honorary grandchildren.

There are no visiting hours. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date in the Brookline Community Church, 2 Main Street, Brookline, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Crotched Mountain Rehabilitation Center, 1 Verney Drive, Greenfield, NH 03047 or to ALS
