George E. Doyle Jr.

George E. Doyle, Jr., 68, of Merrimack passed away on Sunday May 7th, 2017 at Bedford Hills Center in Bedford after a short battle with cancer.

He was born in Bronx, NY on November 17, 1948 to the late Evelyn Jane (Cockrill) and George E. Doyle, Sr.

George was a proud Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from September 1969 to April 1971. He owned and operated Spectrum Telecorp in Merrimack with his business partner Mark Darrow of GA, for many years, and previously worked in the software and telecommunications industry.

Along with his parents, George was pre-deceased by a brother, James Doyle, and his best friend of over 28 years, Larry King, also a fellow veteran. George and Larry enjoyed lunches and target shooting

every Friday.

Surviving members of his family include his loving wife of 47 years, Patricia (Romer) Doyle of Merrimack; two daughters devoted, Kate Doyle, Jen (Doyle) Bauer and her husband Paul Bauer, Jr., all of Merrimack; a grandson, Isaac Bauer; a sister, Patricia Walkowiak of PA; a niece, Kerry Walkowiak and a nephew, Matthew Walkowiak also of PA.

A service will be held at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen at a later date.
