Constance A. Kreider

Constance A. Kreider, 75, of Peterborough, NH, died Tuesday April 8, 2014, at Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough after a sudden illness.

She was born in Coatesville, PA on Oct. 21, 1938, a daughter of the late Lester and Edith (Palmer) Antes.

Mrs. Kreider was a longtime resident of Merrimack until 2009.

She was a member of several town committees including the Horse Hill Nature Preserve, Watson Park, and Heritage Commission. Constance also was a volunteer guardian with C.A.S.A. (Court Appointed Special Advocates), monitoring the cases of abused and neglected children.

Before retirement, she was a longtime pre-school special needs teacher for the Nashua School District.

In addition to her parents, she is pre-deceased by her husband, Donald Kreider who died in 1998; and also a sister, Leslie Snyder.

Members of her family include two sons and a daughter in-law, Greg Kreider of Lyndeborough, NH, and Brian and Kim Kreider and their daughter Emily Kreider, all of Holly Springs, NC; a brother, Frank Antes of Tyaskin, MD; a sister, Claire Blatt of Pineville, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours were in the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, NH, Sunday from 5-7 P.M.

A Funeral Service was held in the Funeral Home, Monday at 11 A.M. Burial will follow in Last Rest Cemetery, Merrimack, NH.
