Dennis Moran, 61, of Merrimack, NH, died Tuesday morning September 2, 2014 at the Community Hospice House after a courageous battle with leukemia.
Born in Nashua, NH on August 27, 1953, he was the son of the late Paul Moran & the late Germaine Poitras.
Dennis was an avid Boston sports fan and loved watching Red Sox baseball and New England Patriots football. He also loved spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 5 years, Tracey Moran; his son, Joshua Moran of Boston, MA; daughter, Tanya Moran of Hudson, NH; stepdaughters, Amanda Lawrence and her husband Jonathan of Windham, NH, and Sarah Bouvier and her husband Matthew of Manchester, NH; sister and brother-in-law, Jerilyn & James Linscott of Nashua; and longtime friends, Linda & Mike Felch, Sr. of Nashua. He also leaves his 6 beloved grandchildren, Felicia, Mateo, Andrew, Noah, Makeliah and Kathryn; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Therrien; and sister, Jacqueline McMaster.
Family and friends were invited to attend his graveside committal service on Monday, September 8th at 11am at the Edgewood Cemetery, Amherst St., Nashua. A gathering followed at the Merrimack Meadows Clubhouse, 49 Hummingbird Lane, Merrimack. To honor his love for the team, people were free to wear Red Sox apparel.
