James M. Davin

James M. Davin, 63, of Merrimack, NH, died Friday Oct. 31, 2014, peacefully at his home with his wife and siblings by his side.

He was born in Brighton, MA, in 1950 and grew up in Sudbury, MA. He was the son of the late James and Marjorie (Geran) Davin.

Jim was a graduate of Lincoln Sudbury High School and Boston College. He ran a home improvement business in Sudbury, MA, and Southern NH for many years before retiring.

He was an avid gardener, loved cooking and teaching others to cook, and enjoyed playing competitive golf for many years.

Members of his family include his wife Susan Chittenden of Merrimack, NH; a sister Ann Davin Cunha and her husband Ken of St. Petersburg, FL; four brothers and two sisters in-law, Edward Davin and his wife Pauline of Punta Gorda, FL, Richard Davin and his wife Traci Watson of Northbridge, MA, William Davin of Dennis, MA, and Daniel Davin of Franklin, MA; nine nieces and nephews, and five great-nieces and nephews.

There are no callings hours. A private family service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Family requests memorial contributions in his name be made to Home Health and Hospice Care, 7 Executive Park Drive, Merrimack, NH 03054 or to a charity of one’s choice.
