Jean M. Lumino

Jean M. Lumino, 62, of Goffstown, NH, and a former longtime resident of Merrimack, died Thursday, June 4, 2015, at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH, after a short illness.

She was born in Melrose, MA, and resided in Medford, MA, before moving to Merrimack, NH. She was the daughter of the late Frank O’Connell and Carolyn (Ross) O’Connell Amigo.

Before retirement, she was an insurance adjuster for area insurance companies, including McDuffee Insurance in Merrimack.

While living in Merrimack for over 30 years, Jean had been active in the MYA basketball and soccer programs in Merrimack. She was also an avid volunteer at the Merrimack School District and Our Lady of Mercy Church.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a daughter, Kerry Ann Lumino; two brothers, Kenneth and Richard O’Connell; and her former husband, Paul Lumino.

Jean is survived by two daughters, Marcy Lumino of Goffstown, NH, and Diana Castellano of Merrimack; a sister, Rosemary Sweeney, and her husband, Kevin, of Medford, MA; a brother, Michael Amigo, and his wife, Kathleen, of Merrimack; a sister, Patricia Buccieri, and her husband, Anthony, of Medford, MA; and a sister-in-law, Cynthia O’Connell of Winthrop, MA. She will be dearly missed by several loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Calling hours were held in the Rivet Funeral Home & Crematorium, 425 Daniel Webster Hwy, Merrimack, NH, Tuesday, June 9, 2015, from 4-8. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in Our Lady of Mercy Church, 16 Baboosic Lake Rd, Merrimack, Wednesday at 10 AM. Burial will be in Last Rest Cemetery, Merrimack.
