Rachel Bernier, 67, of Merrimack, NH, died Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at her home surrounded by her family after a long battle with cancer.
She was born in Augusta, ME, on Feb. 28, 1948, a daughter of the late Joseph and Lucia Bolduc.
Rachel loved the beach and feeding and watching her many hummingbirds. She loved butterflies and angels.
Rachel cherished spending time with family and friends. She loved flowers and snowflakes and had her home filled with both. She was everyone’s MIMI and a 2nd mother to many.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by 2 brothers, Joseph and Paul Bolduc, and three sisters, Germaine Bolduc, Muriel Lachance and Theresa Kinnie.
Members of her family include her husband of 37 years, Claude Bernier of Merrimack; two sons, Reginald and Daniel Guay; four daughters, Bibi Tucker, Lena Ketchie, Sonia Dahl and Crystal Bernier; ten grandchildren, Justin, Jessica and Andrew Guay, Jaslyn Tiews, Jonathan and Brittany Tucker, Dominique and Robert Ketchie, and Thomas and Kayla Dahl; a great-granddaughter, Aubrey Tucker; a brother, Phillip Bolduc of MO; three sisters, Marguerite Caronio, Gracia Julien and Victoria Poulin, all of Maine; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours were in the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Hwy, Merrimack, NH, Friday, June 12, 2015, from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A graveside service was held in Last Rest Cemetery, 13 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack, Saturday at 11 a.m.
