Ronald G. Poirier

Ronald G. Poirier, 75, of Merrimack, NH, died Sunday, Aug. 30, 2015 at his home after a long illness.

He was born in Boston, MA on Aug. 10, 1940 a son of the late Charles J. Sr. and Stella (McDonald) Poirier.

Before retirement, he was a licensed plumber in NH, Maine and MA. He was employed at PDM Mechanical in Manchester, and also taught plumbing and heating at Nashua High School for 5 years.

He loved fishing, hunting and working on his ‘37 Ford Cabriolet street rod.

Members of his family include his loving wife of 46 years, Virginia M. (Hughes) Poirier of Merrimack, NH; one son Charles J. Poirier III; a daughter and son in-law, Wendy and Shawn O’Keefe all of Merrimack; two granddaughters Toni Marie and Jaime Lynn O’Keefe, both of Merrimack.

Memorial calling hours will be held in the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Hwy, Merrimack, NH Sat. Sept 5, 2015 from 11-1 PM. Followed by a service at 1 PM.

In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial contributions to Erica’s Run, Erica Pombrio Foundation, 458 Daniel Webster Hwy, Merrimack, NH 03054.
