Don loved life and was a gentle, happy soul. In 1989 Don and Maureen bought a second home on Silver Lake in Barnard, VT, where they enjoyed many happy times with family and friends gathering around their lake house. Don’s easygoing attitude was infectious and he lived life to the fullest right up to the end. He said to a friend, "I’m just winging it," about his approach to life.

Don was interred in the family plot at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Chelmsford, MA on Sunday, November 29th. Following the interment was a Celebration of Life held at the Lawrence Barn in Hollis, NH from 12 noon to 3 pm. Don’s family wants to thank the staff of Bayada Hospice Vermont for the excellent care and support that was provided during his final days.
