Joyce A. Foulks

Joyce A. Foulks, 78, of Merrimack, NH, died Monday, Oct. 10, 2016, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Bear Lake, MI on Nov. 22, 1937, a daughter of the late Tyler and Grace (Arkin) Richmond.

Joyce was a resident of Garden City, MI, before moving to Merrimack over 40 years ago. Before retirement, she was employed as a Registered Nurse at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester for many years. She was also a longtime and very active member of Our Lady of Mercy Church. She was a member of the Parish Nurse program, The Women of Faith, Comfort Ministry and a former longtime CCD Teacher.

She is the widow of Richard C. Foulks, who died Nov. 7, 2010; and is also predeceased by two brothers, Harvey and Donald Richmond; and three sisters Irene LaDuke, Edith Gonzales and June Hagadone.

Joyce is survived by three sons, Daniel Foulks of Arnold, MD, Kenneth and his wife Lucienne of Amherst, NH and Christopher and his wife Pamela of Atlanta, GA; three daughters and three sons in-law, Diane and Steve Beaton of San Antonio, TX, Nancy and Jason King of Merrimack, and Julie and Steve Vincent of Nashua, NH; 14 grandchildren, Alexander, Matthew and Elizabeth Beaton, Casey, Jonah and Braden Foulks, Derek and Cameron Foulks, Tyler, Jackson, Kathryn and Meghan King and Natalie and Melanie Vincent; a brother Leslie Richmond; two sisters Margie LaDuke and Aggie Doher; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack, on Friday, October 14, 2016, from 5-8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Mercy Church, 16 Baboosic Lake Road, Merrimack on Saturday, October 15 at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Last Rest Cemetery.
