On May 31, 2017, Ellen Kane died at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, at the age of 68. A resident of Merrimack, NH for more than 40 years, Ellen succumbed to ovarian cancer after a nearly two-year courageous and hard-fought battle. Throughout her illness, Ellen remained upbeat and resolute. Her gratitude for life was nourished by her friends, family and grandchildren.
Ellen was born in New York City to Dale Judd and Lt. Col. Frank Judd. She traveled the states and the world throughout her youth. Ellen earned her BA in sociology from American International College in 1970. Ellen recently retired after 10 years at Kronos Incorporated.
She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Dale Judd, and her in-laws, Toni and Ray Kane.
Ellen is survived by her beloved husband of 42 years, Gerry of Merrimack; her cherished daughter, Lindsay Kane Mumbach and her husband Matt, and their two beautiful children, Grady (8) and Molly (3), all of Redding, CT, and her beloved sister, Sandy Judd and her husband Tom Rothwell of New Boston.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
