Bedford voters, June 3 is the deadline if you wish to change your political party affiliation
To the Editor:
This is a letter to Bedford voters.
June 3 is the last day for voters to change party affiliation prior to the Sept. 9, primary election. We would like to stress the importance of checking your party affiliation before June 3, as no party changes may be made after this date, including Election Day.
Only those voters who are registered Undeclared may select the ballot of their choice at the election. A registered Democrat may only take a Democrat ballot, and a registered Republican may only take a Republican ballot.
You can confirm your current party affiliation by viewing copies of the voter checklist at the library (behind the Research Desk) and the Town Offices (in the lobby). You may also call the Supervisors of the Checklist at 792-1329. If we are not in the office, please leave your name and phone number so we may return your call. If you prefer, we may also be reached by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Party affiliation may be changed by June 3, by completing a form available at the Town Offices or downloading a form from the town website at www.bedfordnh.org that may be dropped off or mailed to the Town Offices.
