BEA appreciates votes for school warrant articles

To the Editor:

On behalf of the Bedford Education Association, we want to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt thanks to the Bedford residents who voted in favor of the school warrant articles on March 10. The support we feel as a school community is incredible and humbling.

Consistent, deliberate collaboration with our administration and the Bedford School Board guarantees that we provide a top quality education for all students. As teachers, we take great pride in being part of this community and are ever mindful of our responsibility in the budget process and to the final budget that comes before the voters each year. Whether you are a family that currently has students enrolled in our schools or represent those who are either single or enjoying their retirement here, great schools make for great communities; as such, you have our appreciation and thanks.

There is no better investment in the future than our children. The commitment that teachers make every day to each child will continue to thrive because they begin each school year with students who are eager to learn in a community that values its schools.
