Bedford Women’s Club offers scholarships

To the Editor:

Are you a woman seeking advancement at work, or hoping to change careers, but don’t have the requisite education? Are you underemployed, stuck in a job that doesn’t fully utilize your talents, yet need some additional classes to obtain the job you really want? Are you a stay-at-home mom who would like to complete the education you postponed when you made the decision to stay home? Whatever your situation, if you are a woman who lives in Bedford, and are enrolled or planning to enroll in a post-secondary education facility, the Bedford Women’s Club may be able to help with our non-traditional scholarship. An application for the scholarship can be found at the Bedford library, the Bedford Town Offices, or on our website: The deadline for submitting the application is April 1. Please apply – we’re anxious to help you get to where you want to be.
