Ayotte not abiding by Constitution

The Bedford Girls fourth grade team recently won the 2016 State Championship with a 34-24 victory over a tough Concord Boys & Girls team to avenge their only loss of the season.

Superstar center, Lana McCarthy, led Bedford with 18 points from the paint, with help down low from Sophia LeGoullon who chipped in four points and a ton of rebounds.

The girls played a complete team game with Sophia Douglas and Libby Norris running point and dishing to shooters Kaelyn O’Neill (four points), Kamryn Schmitt (four points), and Megan Muir (two points). Rebecca Mello added another two points from inside to round out the scoring.

Post players Taylor Guibord and Devlyn MacDonald were a force inside as they dominated the interior and rebounded effectively all morning. Congratulations to all the girls and the fans give a thank you to a fantastic coaching staff led by head coach Rob McCarthy and assistants Tom O’Neill and Grant LeGoullon.
