Empty Bowls fundraiser set for Nov. 10

To the Editor:

On Thursday, Nov. 10, the fourth annual Empty Bowls Fundraiser will be held from 5:30-8:00 p.m. in the Commons (cafeteria) at Bedford High School. This fundraiser sells ceramic bowls handmade by the Empty Bowls Club and the Art Honor Society to raise money for New Horizon’s Soup Kitchen in Manchester.

For $10 per bowl, we invite you to enjoy soup and bread donated from local restaurants in addition to live music from student performers. Additionally, this same night marks the opening of the high school’s musical, "The Drowsy Chaperone," at 7 p.m. We encourage you to catch the performance after filling up on a bowl of soup!

If you would be interesting in attending, we ask that you reserve a bowl in advance by emailing emptybowlsbhs@gmail.com with your first and last name, and the number of bowls you would like to purchase. Money will be collected upon arrival at the event in the form of either cash or check.

Thank you so much for helping to support the New Horizon’s Soup Kitchen, we hope to see you there!
