What’s involved with restrictions?

>So what, exactly, does "limit the use of water" mean?

That is what Milford officials have asked homeowners and businesses to do because we are suffering from quite a lack of rain.

Are we in the midst of a drought? Define "drought." The fact is, we haven’t had a lot of rain and things are pretty dry.

Here’s another fact: Drive down Elm Street early in the morning and you’ll see at least one business using quite a bit of water to deal with parched grass.

So our question is this: Is Milford limiting the use of water or isn’t it? And if it is, who is responsible for checking to see that folks are complying?

It’s kind of silly to have water restrictions if water isn’t actually being restricted.
