Women rep area in pro sports

So, now we have two local reasons to pay attention to women’s professional sports:

Milford’s Morgan Andrews has joined Amherst’s McKinley Curro in a women’s professional league. Morgan was drafted recently by the Boston Breakers of the National Women’s Soccer League, and Curro plays for the Long Island Sound of the United Women’s Lacrosse League.

This is great news for local fans of women’s sports, especially since the University of Connecticut’s women’s basketball team has become too good to be interesting.

We hope all goes well for Andrews and Curro, the latter of whom will be entering her second professional season, and for their sports.
