Support for Expo appreciated

To the Editor:

This is a letter to all our wonderful guests, exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers and supporters for the Southern New Hampshire Expo 2013.

It takes a whole lot of people to bring together all the elements of the Southern NH Expo. For the eighth consecutive year, the Souhegan Valley Chamber of Commerce has been privileged to offer this opportunity to our region’s businesses and neighbors to showcase the companies, civic and service organizations that make up our communities. Like the threads of a colorful tapestry, what each one offers compliments and interlinks with the others to create a strong fabric that is the foundation of the Souhegan Valley.

We have so many to thank. Many appear on the list of sponsors, Sustaining Partners and committee members noted in the SNH Expo Program Guide and on our website.

There are also the unsung heroes, as with so many events, who just step in at the right moment, get the job done and provide the extra materials and efforts needed to bring the Expo over the top.

Please help us thank the following businesses and schools for their contributions to a very successful SNH Expo 2013. They include Amherst Junior Women’s Club, Boys & Girls Club of Souhegan Valley, Classic Signs Inc., C. R. Labonte Ground Maintenance, Fitch’s Corner Farm, Interact, McLeod Orchard, P. J. Currier Lumber, RSEC Academy, Scott Babb, Northern Lights Hypnosis, Souhegan High School students, Amherst Junior Women’s Club … and each and every member who took a turn at the doors, registration desk, floor monitors and a hundred small tasks that add up to one very big day!

Thank you to everyone who came to the SNH Expo. We are already planning another fantastic event for 2014.

Mark your calendars for Oct. 16 and visit our website regularly for updates at souhegan.net.
