Rep. O’Brien thanks Mont Vernon, New Boston voters
To the Editor:
I want to thank the Mont Vernon and New Boston voters for the strong state representative primary vote to continue on to the November 4, 2014 general election.
All of us should know that these victories are shared with those who support us. We also know or should know they have no meaning if they are considered personal victories; rather they are a request from the voters to go forward and keep our promises.
In every election in which my Mont Vernon and New Boston neighbors have put their trust in my representing them, I have attempted to keep my eyes on the legislative prize of a caring, but limited government, low taxes, strong and supported families, and, most especially, of liberty founded on personal responsibility. Reaching for those goals is still my promise and that will continue to be a promise that I keep.
Rep. William O’Brien
