LaChance, Woodbury have us in mind

To the Editor:

Am I going to be voting for a representative or politician this November? If the politician in the race follows past practice, there will be a mailer 3 days before the election smearing the opponents. The politician has indicated they support and/or will be joining the corporate-driven American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC). (Through ALEC, corporations hand state legislators wish lists for legislation to benefit their bottom line instead of everyday Granite Staters.) The politician (Bill O’Brien) refused to serve on any committee when he was not Speaker. (Not willing to serve is not a representative.)

I am voting for representatives for District 5 (Mont Vernon/New Boston). Candidates Albert LaChance and David Woodbury are running to serve and represent our best interests. Both have experience as town selectmen, both are deeply committed to what we hold dear in our small communities. Both men are prepared to engage in the kind of focused, thoughtful dialogue it takes to get the hard work done. I am voting to be represented. Please do the same and vote for Albert LaChance and David Woodbury for state representatives.
