Base voting decision off 3 questions

To the Editor:

With all the negative advertising barraging the airways about the various candidates, it can sometimes be difficult to determine the truth. Negative advertising is often misleading or even dishonest and can confuse voters about the various issues. I suggest an easier way to make your decisions on Nov. 4. Ask yourself these three simple questions before voting:

1. Is our country safer now than it was six years ago?

2. Are my friends and family better off financially now than they were six years ago?

3. Am I more satisfied with my health care now than I was six years ago?

If you honestly answered “no” to any or all of the above questions, you need to vote for a change in the “status quo.”
