Scouts thank community for participation in food drive

To the Editor:

The Boy Scouts of America would like to thank all of the volunteers who helped out collecting food throughout the Souhegan Valley on Saturday, Nov. 8. The boxed items were distributed to three food pantries, Share of Milford, The Community Christmas Store and the Open Cupboard Food Pantry both of Wilton.

We would also like to thank Fire Chief Jack Kelly and Brian Charest for the help and the use of the Fire Station as our collection center for distribution to the food pantries. Also we extend our gratitude to the many business who donated boxes, Market Basket, Shaws, Family Dollar, The Dollar Store, Harbor Freight Tools and Kincaid Auto Repair.

Once again our community has been very generous in their donations.

Thank you for your generousity.
