Frank Edelblut doesn’t meet job description

To the Editor:

Frank Edelblut is many things, a successful businessman being one of them. However, the statement of job qualifications for commissioner of education includes the expectation that he be “qualified to hold (his position) by reason of education and experience.”

Frank Edelblut does not have ANY experience of the public school system in New Hampshire. For instance, he has not sent any of his children to public schools.

I see the Edelblut nomination by New Hampshire’s new governor as purely political, and as a resident of this fair state, I protest. If the governor wants history to relate that he did a good job, then he could at least nominate qualified candidates for the jobs he must fill.
