Thank you for all of your support

To the Editor:

Tragically, on Dec. 9, 2013, we lost our wonderful 17-year-old son, Cameron, in an automobile accident on Exit 1 in Nashua.

Needless to say, life as we knew it has been changed forever.

There are no words to describe the unbearable pain and sense of loss of such a beautiful, loving child who was so full of life. Although several weeks have passed – time has been at a stand still for our family.

I am writing to thank our friends, family, community and our extended hockey family for all of the love and support. We mean it when we say, “We could not have made it through without all of you.” All of the friends who have cooked, cleaned, shopped, slept over and cried with us have been amazing. To our special circle of friends who helped us in the days following Cam’s accident to organize what was a wonderful Celebration of Life, thank you!

To the young men who came up with the idea of a Pond Hockey Tournament in memory of Cam that was attended by several hundred people and more than 30 teams and raised more than $4,000 for the fund we say thank you! People that we have never met have sent meals, flowers, cards and donations to our son’s memorial scholarship fund.

Several hockey team/organizations from Massachusetts and New Hampshire have also contributed to the fund and extended their condolences. We are truly overwhelmed by the outpouring of support we have received and will never truly know how to say “thank you” to everyone – but thought this letter may be a start!

God bless and thank you to all!
